The new MD-CX 306 is added to the consolidated range of Simaco magnetic drive pumps with regenerative turbine impeller, to meet the demands of the most modern thermoregulation systems. Thanks to the maximum flow rate of over 180l/min, it is used in all those systems where a high flow rate is required at heads that are difficult to reach with other systems of this compactness.
Suitable for operation with clear liquids, medium aggressive dilutions without suspended or abrasive parts, the HT versions are developed for operation with diathermic oil or pressurized water at high temperatures (max 350°C). The CT version is used in cryogenic applications with fully fluorinated liquids that require working temperatures well below 0°C.
Thanks to deep industrialization and innovative construction solutions, the pump, entirely made of AISI 316 stainless steel, is more compact and lighter than its competitors on the market. Despite sharing the MEC90 engine with other models in the range, our technical office managed to keep the dimensions down by only exceeding 4mm in length and +14.3% in weight, compared to an MD-CX 106 or MD-CX206.
Just like the MD-CX 206 model, this pump has seen the development of new dedicated hydraulic circuits to achieve important results in terms of flow rate. Following the production of a pre-series with hydraulic unit made from solid in our internal workshop, new molds were developed for the mass production of stainless steel components.
For connection to the systems standard 1" and ¼ SAE flanges are provided, which also guarantee interchangeability in existing circuits.
Thanks to the possibility of using the new PMSM motors, high flexibility and control of the system are also obtained:
- IP65 protection instead of 54;
- higher efficiency than the IE4 value;
- possibility to eliminate the fan;
- the basic sensorless configuration does not prevent them from being able to be equipped with different types of feedback (resolver or encoder) on the rpm, in order to manage the engine speed from 50rpm to 4000rpm;
- motor temperature control;
- Possibility of equipping the pump with different sensors (flow, pressure, temperature) in order to create a self-regulating system or to monitor performance by creating statistics on working hours, faults, maintenance steps.
Previewed at the fair in Milan - PLAST 2023 in September and at MCE 2024 - the engineering phase has already been completed and they are available for production.
