An over 60 years Made in Italy story in the field of fluid moving technology, aiming to develop ever more innovative and performing products.
60’s
SIMACO was founded in 1962, first Italian company to produce circulators for domestic heating.
The pump n.1 produced in these years is a gear pump, produced by advanced mechanics.
In short, it is necessary to expand the factories with the settlement in the current production site in Corte Palasio. (Lodi).
70’s
First sales network in Italy and first export sales agreements. Within a few years, the first supply contracts arrived abroad.
Participation in fairs begins, starting with the FIERA DEL LEVANTE in Bari in 1977.
SIMACO is one of the founding members of the Lodi Export consortium which aims to support the expansion on foreign markets of small and medium-sized industrial, craft and commercial enterprises in the area.
80’s
Strong expansion of SIMACO. Pumps for welding industry are introduced along with the KILA submersible pumps, first in Italy to obtain the Semko certification in 1985.
In 1986, the first exclusive distribution agreement was signed in France and the first participation in an international fair in Germany.
In 1987 the company began designing and subsequently producing GUEKO high pressure washers, joined in subsequent years by the SULKO model.
90’s
The ranges of centrifugal pumps in polymer for whirlpool SAM and MAC are born and developed, a new sector for SIMACO.
The second generation of peripheral electric pumps for cooling units in the welding sector, KN33-43 range in brass, is born.
Alongside the standard production of electric pumps, the production of small fire-fighting groups is started.
The growth in sales requires an initial expansion of the plant to make way for new and more up-to-date production lines.
2000
Born the 2nd generation of EGO, the range of plastic submersible pumps for gardening.
After several years of study, the production of a new range of electro-pumps in stainless steel with magnetic drive called MD-CX begins.
In 2006 the production site expanded with a covered area of 4.000sqm.
The VP range of immersed vertical pumps for the industrial sector was born in 2007.
2010
In recent years, the company began to look east, with the first exploratory approach to the Japanese market and the first participation in an international fair in China.
In 2012 SIMACO celebrates 50 years since its foundation.
In 2017, the process that delivers the cRUus brand to SIMACO for the marketing of products on the American market is completed.
Historically devoted to local production in 2019, the company decides to join the 100% made in Italy brand promoted by the Institute for the Protection of Italian Producers (ITPI).
The range of vertical pumps undergoes a restyling in 2018 and the 2nd generation called VP is born.
2020
In 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, SIMACO designs and introduces KATARI to the market in record time: a UV-C LED device for sanitizing environments.
In 2022 SIMACO celebrates 60 years since its foundation and reaches the milestone of 10 million in turnover. A charging station for electric vehicles is installed in the company car park for the use of customers, suppliers and employees.
In 2023 the new GP gear pump was presented at PLAST – Milan.
In 2024 SIMACO is certified UNI EN ISO9001:2015
